| TERM 2This term we have children participating in the 40 hr famine, many are only eating rice, not talking or living in a box. Rooms 2 and 4 are visiting the Branch River Power Scheme in the Wairau Valley and also have their camp to look forward to. Winter sports is underway and we have teams representing our School in Basketball, Hockey, Netball and Flippa Ball. There are also many children playing for various rugby and football clubs.ROAD SAFETY An Accident Waiting to Happen - our carpark/school crossing at 2.45 - 3 pmPlease be aware of the following when driving past our school;1. Observe the yellow lines - do not park on the school side of the road2. Keep cars moving through the crossing area to avoid a nose to tail incident. Children will be held back by the duty teacher until the road is clear.3. Diagonal park on the vineyard head land if the car park is full4. Staff car park is for staff only.5.
