My favourite day of the year!
Rapaura School has the privilege of running their cross country on one of our local farms, where the daffodils grow, the trees swing in the breeze and the children have the freedom of running through paddocks, over bridges and finish amongst a cheering crowd of fellow students and parents. We are very appreciative to the Gifford family for the continued use of their place and from us all a huge THANK YOU.
Another aspect of the day is the way the students display the school values and more. Respect is contagious as we see the older students supporting the young and the cheering and supporting one another. Excellence shines as all students give their best as competitors. Adaptability is evident when everyone is competing and they adjust to the environment and conditions. Collaboration is everywhere as we watched the support, the cheering and interest that all display as they watch and wait. Hauora is heightened all day with the smiles, the support, the cheering, the success and the personal bests achieved.
Well done Rapaura School and fabulous day.
