You are here: Home / Principal / Lochmara was so much fun….

Lochmara was so much fun….

Today I had the privilege of helping out with the Jellyman and Coleman Room children as we travelled to Lochmara Lodge for the day.  We patted stingrays as they swam  over our toes, we interacted with many different sea life found in the Marlborough Sounds and we went walking and saw artworks, eels, Kune Kune pigs, Crumpy’s cottage and so much more.
A huge thank you to Julia and Erin for all the organising, the wonderful parents who supported our students so well and the two ladies at Lochmara who were so helpful and accommodating.  We were the youngest aged group they had had but it worked superbly.
Lochmara is a wonderful learning opportunity for our students as we learn more about the Marlborough Sounds and how businesses and people are working hard to sustain this environment for many generations to come.
