Tasman Secondary School Triathlon

A keen and energetic group of our Y6/7/8 students travelled to Rabbit Island, Nelson to compete in the Tasman Secondary School’s triathlon on Tuesday 3 March 2020.  Rapaura School has been supporting this event for a number of years and is one we treasure as a way to celebrate individuals and teams successes in a new field for many.

We had a number of U12 individuals – Ruby R, Thomas B, Lauchlan G, Rhys G, Blake P & Will CC, one U13 female individual Harriet M and five teams.

The event started with a swim leg, followed by bike and lastly run.

Once again the behaviours and dedication each of the students demonstrated highlighted the many great attributes of our school.

Congratulations to all competitors, thanks to the parents for their support with transport and helping out with gear and Mark Grammar for organising such a successful event.

Special congratulations to:
Thomas B 3rd U12 individual
Will CC 4th U12 individual
Ruby R, 5th U12 individual girl
