Jack and Isla catch-up

It is great to hear all the good things Jack and Isla have planned for us this term.  They are both excited about our first inquiry and see many new initiatives being created for the children.  Isla was particularly keen to hear Arts included music and dance.  Keep an eye out for new information.  It is great that they are already thinking forward to Privilege Day.   They both agreed, ‘that the special day often gets forgotten and it’s hard to organise something with little time.’
We have also agreed the cup that is given out at assemblies, to give awarded by both staff and students.  Jack and Isla have made up tokens that are filled out and put into a box in the school foyer.  At each assembly the children will be recognised and one will be chosen from the box for the cup.  I certainly encourage parents to look out for students who Reach for Success when they are in and around the school.

We also looked at our behaviour programme.  We are in the early stages of identifying if our existing behaviour programme is working.  Developments will be shared with you all.

A photo of the ministers will be added at a later date.  They’ll all busy with assessment tasks at the moment.
