2016 Mountain bike winners

22 mountain bike riders from Rapaura School travelled to Richmond Brook Station to compete against 280 other children at the inter-school mountain bike event organised by Seddon School.

The day consists of 3 races Y3/4, Y5/6 and Y7/8.  The first 10 boys and 10 girls receive points. 1st place = 10 points, 2nd = 9 points and so on.  From the results of our students, our overall points added up to 53 which gave us enough to come home again with the trophy.  This was due to a huge team effort by all children and the support of the their parents.  A special congratulations to Pippa B who won overall the Y7/8 race, Will S who came 3rd boy in Y5/6 and Paddy T who came 3rd in Y3/4 boys race.  A great day and I’m so proud of you all.

A special thanks to Seddon School for a fabulous event.  We hope you raised lots of money for your camps and trips.
