A team of eight players represented Rapaura School at  Richmond View on 13 May to play against other schools in the Inter-school Chess tournament.  Once again, the results were outstanding and one of our players coming home as junior champion again, well done Maz I.

The other players all picked up medals and/or certificates.  A true representation of respect and collaboration with over half of the team attending for the first time.

Results:
Junior winner – Maz (Gold medal and invited to enter Nationals in ChCh).
Junior team  – 3rd place and bronze medals (Maz, Samuel, Dylan, Rory)
Rookie team – 3rd place (Keegan, Jed, Ruby, Jonty)
