On Friday, to celebrate Conservation Week, Corey Mosen and his famous kea dog Ajax visited Rapaura School. Corey has been working in conservation around the world for more than ten years. His biggest passion is with our native alpine parrot the Kea and Corey has played a significant role in protecting, advocating and monitoring Kea in the South Island through the work he does with the Kea Conservation Trust. Our time with Corey ended with a bang with the whole school gathered on the field to watch Corey capture a flying shoe with his net gun!
