Inter-school mountain biking event – Seddon 17 October 2019

What an event it was!  Smiles, mud, and success as the 30 Rapaura students confidently competed and gave all to come home with the trophy.  The Seddon School team kindly identified that the event required recognition of the primary grades and the Y7/8 grades which resulted in Rapaura winning the primary grade and second overall.

We had many great results and a good number coming in the top ten.  This is how we did so well with the points acquired from the following riders.

Y3/4 team: Libby P – 2nd, Isla W 3rd, Milly N – 6th, Dahlia  F – 7th and Honor F 10th.  Gus M – 3rd.

Y5/6: Ella B – 5th, Thomas B – 5th and Sam J 7th

Y7/8: Ella S – 7th and Pippa C – 8th.

A wet day but not once did I hear any grumbles and so again I was so proud of the wonderful children we have at Rapaura. As well as the students, once again, an outstanding display of parents always helping and supporting our students.

I managed a couple of photos, see below.
