Once again I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to support a group of 20 Y7/8 students of Rapaura School, when they competed in the Port Nelson 12 & 13 year old triathlon at Rabbit Island.  Last time our school entered this event it was known as Andrew Jones Memorial triathlon so it was great to be back.

A huge thanks to the parents who kindly supported with transport and to the students who respectfully competed in their events.  The prize giving highlighted 3 of our teams finishing 1st and 2nd in 12 year old and 2nd in the mixed team event.  And to all the other students, congratulations on a fine effort and hope you enjoyed your day.

This will definitely continue to be on the calendar each year and I look forward to supporting more groups in the future.
