Tuesday 23 February the whole school visited the Blenheim township to identify the many art pieces Marlborough has on show. One of the stops was a visit to the Millennium Art Gallery. Cressida, gallery director, kindly shared with us the current exhibition, ‘Selling the Dream – The Art of Early New Zealand Tourism.’ These prints were either screen printed or Lithograph. Lithos means ‘stone’ and graphic, meaning to ‘write’. Water and oil were used to colour.
