Today our school choir visited the residents of Ashwood Park Retirement village where they sang songs and waiata to them. The residents enjoyed listening and talking with the children. The children commented fondly of the smiles and the humming and singing from the residents as they performed. The children were very grateful of the welcome sign and the morning tea they put on for them.
A huge thank you to Michelle H for organising the visit, the parents who helped with transport and Mr Valli for supporting the school choir.
