Spring Show 2017

What a magic day we’ve had at Rapaura School celebrating Spring Show.  The sun was shining, the animals were intrigued by the audience and the creations and entries from all students, showcased the creativity and talents of all.

This year was the last year for Jenny Stark, teacher aide of Rapaura School, who has been supporting the school and Spring Show for the last 23 years.  Jenny’s input into this day is phenomenal and we so, so appreciate all she does.  Next year, we’ll have to convince her to come back as a judge?

Two of our judges, Mr Ewan Robinson and Mr Ian Gifford,  have also been coming for long time, longer than they can remember.  We all enjoy watching the judges interact with our students and there is something special about the way they do this, particularly with our Y8 leaders who support the judges as they move around the school judging the different categories.   Both Mr Robinson and Mr Gifford commented favourable on the behaviour and attitude of our children and that is such a rewarding thing to hear.

For those who attended we hope you had a great day.  Thank you all for the support you give to your children to continue to make this day a memorable one.

A big thank you to the staff who help to prepare and support the children to make their creations.  Well done Rapaura School and community.
