Turf opening

With a term behind us as owners of the all-weather turf  we felt it important to show case the facility by inviting someone from the community who excels in sport to cut the ribbon.  We invited Megan Craig, currently NZ’s second place female competitor in squash, who was raised and currently lives in Marlborough.  She spoke to the children about being a high profiled sports player, the hours and commitment of her sport, the funds she needs to raise to follow her sport and the many highlights; for example the many countries and friends she has visited and met along the way.
Alayna, eldest student, and Jed, our youngest student, with the help of Marshall held the ribbon for Megan to cut. The ceremony was completed with a  haka from the boys.
