Gus and Rory came to tell me the chickens had laid the first egg!  I asked Gus what was to happen with the egg?
He told me that he was going to give it to Dave.  Dave is the man who supported the class with ‘half’ of the chicken coop.  I can imagine Dave will be very happy receiving the very first egg.
