Y7&8 get together with Fairhall School

We welcomed the Y7/8 group from Fairhall School to work alongside our Y7/8 class.  The aim of the day is to support the group with new friends and connection prior to moving to high school.

There were various activities organised from creating a surf board that had to hold a weight and tested in the school pool, they had an ex student of Rapaura, Pippa B, deputy head girl of MGC, visit to talk about her journey and leadership and we finished the day with a game of super rugby.  A big thanks to Bridget G for refereeing the game.

The group will come back together in Term 3 and this will be held at Fairhall School.
